By public transport

You can reach us by DB trains from all directions, exit Hauptbahnhof or Dammtor station, with the U3 station Rathaus, the U1, U2, U4, S1, S2 and S3 station Jungfernstieg, the MetroBuslinien 3, 4, 5, 6 and the Bus 109 stop Rathausmarkt and the express bus lines 31, 34, 35, 36, 37 stop Rathausmarkt.

Parking is available in the parking garages: 

  • Bucerius Passage / Alter Wall (Entrance Alter Wall, parking garages are located directly under the Bucerius Kunst Forum)
  • Bleichenhof / Stadthöfe (Entrance Große Bleichen) 
  • Hanseviertel (Entrance Hohe Bleichen) 
  • Alsterhaus (Entrance Bei der Stadtwassermühle)

Already purchased exhibition tickets

For an immediate refund of the exhibition ticket, please send an e-mail with your ticket (pdf or photo) and your bank details to tickets@remove-this.buceriuskunstforum.de.

Purchased exhibition tickets remain valid for the entire duration of the exhibition Georges Braque. Dance of Shapes (until 30 April 2021). In case of a reopening till 30 April: Please book before visiting the exhibition a free 0.00 Euro time ticket in the ticket shop or at the cash desk. Please bring the 0.00 Euro ticket together with your unused ticket to your next visit and show it on admission to the exhibition area.

Our digital short lecture introduces you to the themes of the exhibition Georges Braque. Dance of Shapes. Our art educators will give you an overview and explain the multifaceted work of the French artist with the help of illustrations and exhibition views. The offer is in German.

Bucerius Kunst Forum provides full wheelchair access

  • The cash desk and shop are on the ground floor.
  • A wheelchair-accessible lift takes visitors up to the first floor with the exhibition gallery, up to the second floor with auditorium and atrium and down to the cloakroom in the basement.
  • Wheelchair-accessible toilet
  • A wheelchair for visitors with walking difficulties is available free of charge at the cloakroom.


Barrier-free education

In addition to a spatially barrier-free access, the Bucerius Kunst Forum is also interested in making the exhibitions shown accessible to people with disabilities. For example, you can book sign language tours of the current exhibition.

Current Information

Due to current regulations, we have decided not to rent our premises to third parties for the time being. As soon as the regulations allow us to organize flexible events, we are looking forward to being the venue for your event again.

Your event in our space

Bucerius Kunst Forum can provide exceptional rooms for your event, with one of the best views in Hamburg of the Binnenalster and Rathausmarkt. Receptions for up to 300 people, conventions, seminars and press conferences can be held here in grand surroundings.

  • View the current exhibition outside the official opening hours.
  • Enhance your event by offering an exclusive guided tour or an art history lecture on the exhibition theme.
