The Bucerius Kunst Forum considers itself as a place for exchange – quite the opposite of the traditional notion of the "sacred exhibition hall," where silence is the golden rule. We actively encourage art to be explored, experienced, and discussed.
Art can, however, be discovered in many different ways – sometimes in quiet reflection, sometimes in a lively atmosphere. That’s why we are introducing two new formats to meet the individual needs of our visitors. Depending on their mood, guests can either indulge in moments of retreat and contemplation or enjoy a vibrant start to their weekend.
Art in Quiet Mode
SILENT STROLLS
every Monday 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Longing for a serene encounter with art? The Silent Strolls create an oasis of calm. Without guided tours or group visits, you can enjoy the art in peaceful silence. This space invites you to take your time, observe the works without distractions, and to be in the moment with the art.
Art Meets Music
SOUND STROLLS
every Friday 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.
In the mood for a lively and dynamic art experience? The Sound Strolls offer the perfect soundtrack for a vibrant start to your weekend. Relaxed DJ sets play through the speakers, blending art and music seamlessly. Feel free to discuss, dance, or hum along – just be sure to respect the art and your fellow visitors.
The sound for this exhibition is brought to you by Juicy Luce, who has curated a set inspired by the themes of the show In Her Hands.
