Discover New Friends in the Exhibition

We introduce you to six children from different centuries – through short profiles that share stories about their lives, their favorite things, and the times they lived in.

As you walk through the exhibition, you can explore this digital friendship book, inspired by the friendship albums many of us remember from childhood. Six children portrayed in the artworks on display tell you about themselves, their interests, their role models, and much more. The friendship book is accessible via a QR code in the exhibition. For younger visitors, there is also an analogue version on large-format cards that they can carry with them on their tour.

Let’s Be Friends!

Whether you were a playful kid, a quiet thinker, or a bold adventurer as a child – we’d love to hear and see your stories! During your next visit, you can fill out a page of our friendship book on site and pin it to the portrait wall in the foyer. Feel free to bring a childhood picture with you, whether drawn, painted, or photographed.
