When enjoying art, the health and safety of everyone is most important, therefore appropriate hygiene measures and precautions are taken to protect visitors and staff. This includes:

  • Limited number of visitors
  • Booking a time slot in our Online Shop or at the cash desk of the Bucerius Kunst Forum
  • Collection of contact details (printable form)
  • Obligation to wear a medical mask
  • Keeping the minimum distance of 1.5 meters
  • Observe the sneezing and coughing etiquette

We kindly ask you to keep the minimum distance of 1.5 meters in front of the entrance of the Bucerius Kunst Forum during short waiting periods.

In case of new developments, the overall situation may change at short notice. We will inform you about the current status on our website.

Everything Important for your Visit

Here we have summarized all important information for your visit to the Bucerius Kunst Forum.


  • You can purchase exhibition tickets online in the Online Shop or at the cash desk of the Bucerius Kunst Forum.
     
  • Due to the Hamburg Resolution Ordinance and in order to comply with important hygiene and safety measures, we only offer appointment bookings in terms of time slot tickets.
     
  • The time slots for online tickets will be released two weeks in advance.
     
  • Please note that you are only allowed to be in the exhibition during the time slot you have booked (1 hour).
     
  • All persons who receive free admission to the Bucerius Kunst Forum can purchase a free 0.00 euro time slot ticket online. Please bring your entitlement for free admission with you.
     
  • You can purchase a maximum of ten time slot tickets.
     
  • Please note that a subsequent exchange, rebooking of the time slot and a refund of the purchase price are excluded.
     
  • In case of another closure due to the current pandemic, you can of course rebook your ticket free of charge or receive a refund.
     

Ticket Shop

According to the latest ordinance of the Hamburg Senate, we as an exhibition house are required to collect the contact details of all visitors, including the date and time of their visit, in order to be able to trace any chains of infection.

In order to be able to guarantee this regulation, we ask you to scan the QR-Code in front of the Bucerius Kunst Forum with the Luca-App or enter your contact details in the printable form before your visit and hand it in at the cash desk.

We assure you that we will handle the contact details with care, that we will only present them to the responsible authorities upon request, that we will not pass them on to other third parties, and that we will delete them after the retention period (4 weeks) has expired. We ask for your understanding that we cannot grant admission if the contact details have not been deposited.

  • The number of visitors is limited.
     
  • Keeping the minimum distance of 1.5 meters.
     
  • If you feel ill or feverish, we ask you to refrain from visiting for everyone's protection.
     
  • To protect yourself and those around you, wearing a medical mask is obligated throughout the house.
     
  • Please use the disinfectant dispensers placed throughout the building.
     
  • Wash your hands regularly and follow sneeze and cough etiquette.
     
  • The building offers directions adapted to the situation: The entrance to the Bucerius Kunst Forum is on the side of the Alter Wall. To leave the house, please use the exit to the Fleet through the Bucerius Book Shop.
     
  • The small elevator to the left of the cash desk may be used by a maximum of one person, the large elevator to the right of the shop by a maximum of two persons of the same household.
     
  • Please note that as of now, no negative coronary test (PCR or rapid test), vaccination certificate or certificate of recovery is required to visit the Bucerius Kunst Forum.

It is obligated to wear a medical mask to protect yourself and the people around you.

No media guides and headphones will be provided, instead the BKF Guide can be downloaded onto your own smartphone free of charge.

Public Tours

Public tours take place with a maximum of 15 people. Please purchase a time slot ticket for your visit in the exhibition and a matching ticket for the public guided tour.

No proof of a negative coronatest, recovery or proof of vaccination is required for tours.

Private Tours

Private tours take place with a maximum of 15 people. Please note that you must register for this offer with the Museumsdienst Hamburg and cannot book online tickets in advance in our online-shop. Tickets can be purchased at the Bucerius Kunst Forum cash desk before the tour.

No proof of a negative coronatest, recovery or proof of vaccination is required for tours.

As a Club Member and Young Member, you can purchase a free 0.00 Euro time ticket in the Ticket Shop for your planned visit to the exhibition. Please note that you are only allowed to stay in the exhibition during the time slot you have booked (1 hour).  Please bring your Member Card with you for presentation before your visit.
Time slots for online tickets are released two week in advance.

Events

Accompanying the current exhibition you can expect diverse and interesting events.

Negative coronary test , vaccination certificate or certificate of recovery

Please note that as of now, a negative coronary test (PCR or rapid test), vaccination certificate or certificate of recovery is required to visit events at Bucerius Kunst Forum. For this purpose, either a PCR test must be no more than 48 hours old and, in the case of a rapid test, no more than 24 hours old. Please bring one of the mentioned proofs as well as a valid photo ID with you to the entrance. Children up to the age of six are exempt from providing proof of testing. 

The use of a negative coronary test, vaccination certificate or certificate of recovery is not permitted if symptoms or infection are present and will result in exclusion from the event.
